About the School :
Step by Step is preschool for boys & girls. Unlike traditional Nursery Schools, the early education programme followed here is primarily informal and child directed. In the concept of child-oriented curriculam, interest centres are provided in various parts of the classroom and no time schedules are used.
 
The advantage of this system is that the child accepts by choice to organize his/her own learning experiences in a systematic and beneficial manner.
 
Children discover and achieve proficiency by working with a variety of materials assisted by adults who observe and guide them. It is kept in mind that is the interest of the child that is primarily responsible for progress. Reinformation of concepts also takes place through art, games, dramatic presentations, songs and dance.
    

Aims & Objectives :
It aims to create for children between the ages of 2+ to 6 years, an environment suitable for their all round social, emotional and intellectual development. School aims to provide a rich and stimulating environment with abundant space for both indoor & outdoor activities. 
 

Atmosphere :
Set amidst sprawling lush lawns, shady trees and profuse greenery, the classrooms are spacious, airy and filled with colourful play and educational equipment. A sandpit, water play and a variety of swings are added attractions for the tiny tots. A warm and friendly atmosphere ensures that the child feels secure and loved at all times and makes the school a Home away from home.
 

Teaching Staff :
The school has a large well-trained staff to provide individual attention and care to each child, for which a “low Teacher-Student ratio” is maintained. With constant encouragement and positive reinforcement from the teachers, children learn to become independent, develop self-worth and confidence in themselves and their abilities.
 

Children must be punctual and regular in attendance.
