This is a Govt. hospital affiliated to the Sawai Man Singh Medical College. It serves in the interests of women and provides excellent medical, treatment & laboratory facilities to all the patients.

Location : This hospital is situated at Jawahar lal Nehru Marg (JLN Marg) opposite Kesargarh.

A team of 42 well qualified & experienced doctors & a total of 155 nurses are available to serve the people whole-heartedly.

Emergency Services :

-  Emergency services are available round the clock.
-  In case of emergencies, 1 senior (specialist) doctor, 1 Resident
   doctor & a nurse is available.
-  First aid is readily available.
-  S.T.D. & P.C.O. facilities are also available.

Indoor & outdoor patients Registration Facilities :

-  Rs. 2/- is charged from outdoor patients and Rs. 5/- is charged
   from indoor patients as registration fees.
-  For patients to be hospitalized registration facilities are available
   at the reception itself.
-  No registration fees is charged from Handicap & Orphans patients
   who have met with some accident etc.

Vaccination Centre :

-  There are free vaccination facilities for children in medical outdoor
  deptt.

Medicine Centre :

-  As per doctors instructions, free medical facilities are provided to
   poor patients.
-  Free family Planning sevices like Contraceptive pills, nirodh etc.
   are available.
-  For treatment of T.B., Malaria, Leprosy, Medicines are provided
   free of cost.


Pathology Services :

For all outdoor & indoor patients following services & facilities are available :

General Tests :
-  Blood Test, Urine Test, Stool Test etc.
-  Haemoglobin Test
-  T.L.C., D.L.C., E.S.R.
-  Also B.T. & T.C. facilities

Special Tests :
For diseases like cancer & others related to children, following test facilities are available :
-  P.B.F. Test
-  Bone Marrow Tests
-  F.N.A.C. (Fine Medical Aspiration)
-  Other special Urine, Stool tests.
-  These facilities are available in room no. 3 & 4                         

Radio Diagnostic Services :
Following diagnostic services are available
-  X-ray, (available 24 hours)

Operation Facilities :

Timings :
Summer  :  8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Winter :  9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

-  All operation for children are conducted free of cost, 6 days a
   week from Monday to Saturday.
-  Emergency operation facilities are available round the clock.
-  There is facility of 1 operation table for emergency operation & 3
   tables for other operation.
-  There is an anaesthesia unit in which 1 professor, 1 assistant
   professor & 2 resident doctors are available.
-  Operations are conducted in order of the dates of hospitalization
   of patients.

Facilities for Indoor Patients :

-  There are 4 medical unit, 2 surgical unit & 1 gastroenterology
   facilities. There are 4 medical ward, 2 surgical ward, 1 new born
   child ward, 1 Troma ward, 1 gastroenterology ward are available.
-  Facilities for 3 cottage room (for medical deptt.) & 2 cottage  
   room (for surgical deptt.) are available at nominal charges.
-  An I.C.U. equipped with latest equipments & technology & a
   facility of 6 beds is there for serious patients.
-  In each ward resident doctors are available for 24 hours. Senior
   doctors can be called in case of emergency.

Time to see Patients :

Summer (1st April – 30th Sept.) :  8 a.m. – 12 p.m.  5.30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Winter (1st Oct. – 31st March) : 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 5 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.
On state holidays
Summer : 8 – 10 a.m.
Winter :  9 – 11 a.m.


Other facilities :

-  3 Medical Stores to provide medicines at reasonable prices round
    the clock.
-  Free wheel-chair & stretchers available.
-  Facility of 2 ambulance.
-  Free meals for patients as advised by the doctors.
-  Free medical facilities to patients below the poverty line, having
   Medicare relief card.
-  Free medical facilities to all patients in emergency cases.
- After serving emergency patients & patients from Medicare Relief
  Society other poor,handicap, orphan, etc. are provided medical 
  facilities.
- 25% of the amount of money from Medicare Relief Society is spent
  for providing free medicines of the poor patients.


 No fees is charged from patients from following categories :

- B.P.L. card holders
- Handicap
- Orphans
- Patients who have met accident, etc.
